Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. A complex aromatic profile of white peach with a subtle gun flint overlay, pear, dried honey, cashew, subtlety toasted biscuity oak, nougat and spice sails out of the glass with intensity. Very Burgundian like, the palate boasts outstanding concentration and power yet maintains a refined feel throughout. Mouthfilling white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours evolve into nougat, cashew, biscuity oak and spice, all seamlessly integrating with one another and showing great richness. Beautifully rounded texture with a subtle creaminess to the long complex finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.3%

Other Reviews….
Estate-grown, hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wild-fermented, 35% mlf, matured in French oak (20% new) for 14 months on lees. Elegant and perfectly balanced, it is maturing at a reassuringly slow pace, promising more still when fully mature. The flavours are poised between stone fruit and citrus. Drink by 2025.

Complex, yet pure, this is full of peach, lemon, brioche pastry, fresh new oak and green mango. The palate has richness and a seamless arc of fruit flesh that is nailed into place with mouth-watering acidity. Carries the oak effortlessly on the palate. Impressive and so resolved, this is their best chardonnay to date. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
