2018 Cullen Wines Grace Madeline

Certified organic, the wine is a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Semillon with the Sauvignon Blanc component matured in 75% new French oak for 3 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted citrus, green apple and subtle passionfruit scents are complexed by light pencilly cedar, herbaceous grassy notes and spice. Vibrant and energetic yet beautifully rounded texturally, the palate is layered with passionfruit, lime and green apple fruits that have some subtle herbaceous overtones. Delicate pencilly cedar and stony mineral characters lie on the back half. Finishes dry with a pinch of spice and long textural aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
