Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced liquorice allsorts aromas overlay dark plum and choc mint notes with scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spice also evident. Rich, intensely concentrated flavours of aniseed, dark plum and blackberry have a plush feel with infusions of choc mint, toasty oak and spicy earth lying underneath. Excellent power with ripe velvety tannins possessing a sturdy underbelly. Long rich, polished finish.
