Cellar: Drink now - 5 Years (2021-2026)
ABV: 12.9%
Closure: Stelvin

Sourced from vineyard blocks located between 610 and 760m altitude at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Each parcel underwent a full malolactic fermentation and was aged on lees in a mix of new and seasoned Allier and Tronçais oak.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose dispels aromas of nectarine, pear and light dried honey followed by biscuity nougat like notes and notions of gun flint. Fleshy in its feel the palate is layered with rich white peach, nectarine, dried honey and biscuity oak flavours which overlay a light nougat and gun flint infused back drop. Nicely balanced freshness with a long cream tinged aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 12.9%

Other Reviews….
Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wild fermented and matured in French oak (30% new) for 11 months.  An exceptional wine, harmonious and simple.  White peach, pear and grapefruit all have something to say on the perfectly balanced and very long palate.  The '16 and '17 are equally outstanding.
