Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red to brick red hue. Cherry aromas have a faint varnishy edge to them with rhubarb, forest floor, dried herb and spice notes also evident. Light in body with a supple textural feel, the palate lacks conviction with dried cherry, wild strawberry and rhubarb fruits showing average drive. Dried herbs, forest floor and spice also chime in. Velvet smooth tannins with a medium length aftertaste.
