Midnight black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted blackcurrant and earth aromas are trailed by black olive, subtle cigar box and spice notes. Medium bodied with a stern, grainy feel the palate has a tightly coiled blackcurrant, earthy graphite, cigar box, dried herb and spice flavour profile. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins and a rustic mid length aftertaste.
