2018 Bruno Rocca Fralù Langhe Nebbiolo

Aged for 8-12 months in French oak barriques. Bright ruby red coloured core with subtle black tinged edges and a light red hue. Nosing offers up a fragrant bouquet of rose petals, spicy red cherries and dark raspberries with notions of crushed rock, light scorched earth and dried herbs also present. Energetic red cherry and raspberry fruits have a crunchy feel underpinned by vibrant acidity and firming, slightly grippy tannins. Elements of scorched earth, dried herbs and spicy tobacco support the red fruits. Dry muscular finish with a robust aftertaste.
