2018 Bouchard Pere & Fils La Vignee Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Bouchard Pere et Fils source fruit from a variety of growers located throughout Bourgogne. Maturation is typically 10-15% in French oak barrels with the balance in stainless steel vats for a period of 9 to 10 months.

An excellent entry level Burgundy, it’s light palate layered with delicious red fruits.

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Fragrant violet, red cherry and strawberry scents fill the nostrils followed by spicy cedar, a hint of earth and fresh herb notes. Light in body, fresh and very savoury, the palate has delectable red cherry and winter strawberry fruits which overlay subtle spicy cedar, light earth and infusions of fresh herbs. Elegant, refined feel with finely integrated tannins, bright acidity and a medium to long finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
