2018 Bera Barbera d'Alba

Very deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark red hue. Ripe dark cherry and dark raspberry aromas bounce out of the glass with liquorice, inky earth, incense and spicy fresh herb notes also evident. Bold dark raspberry and ripe cherry flavours fill the juicy palate underscored by some liquorice, light earth and spicy herbs. Bright acidity and well integrated, polished tannins lead into a long fresh, fruit driven finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
