Semi translucent bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a crimson red hue. Fragrant aromas of violets, ripe cherries and strawberries intermix with hints of anise, dried herbs and spice. Light to medium weight the supplely textured palate is generously flavoured with spicy dark cherry, strawberry and plum fruit which gently melds into anise, light toasty oak and dried herbs. Velvety tannins with ample power right through to the moreish finish.
