2018 Atze’s Corner Rare Black Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 24 months in new French oak. Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep black dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and liquorice scents infused with black olives are followed by vanillin cedar, scorched earth and spicy tobacco notes. Rich blackcurrant, dried cherry and liquorice fruits swamp the amply endowed palate. Cigar box, black olive, scorched earth and spicy dried herb characters lie underneath. Firm sturdy tannin structure with a long ripe blackcurrant, black olive and scorched earth conclusion.
