2018 Atze’s Corner Eddies Old Vine Shiraz

Aged in new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads. Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Potent liquorice, black cherry and blackberry aromas jump out of the glass trailed by vanillin oak, hints of dark chocolate, subtle leather and spice. Rich, concentrated, powerful and silky, opulent blackberry, liquorice and black plum fruits glide effortlessly across the full bodied palate. Lying underneath is toasty vanillin oak, earth, subtle dried herbs and spice. Beautifully integrated cashmere like tannins with a very long and plush finish.
