Certified organic this Shiraz was matured in older French oak puncheons. Totally opaque midnight black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Upfront the nose shows prominent toasty notes with aromas of dark plum, liquorice, vanillin cedar and blackpepper ensuing. Silky smooth entry with plush dark plum and liquorice fruits layered across the mid weighted palate. Also present are toasty vanillin oak and spicy pepper elements. Velvet smooth tannins. Good depth with a long lush aftertaste.
