2018 Alpha Crucis Titan Shiraz

Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Wafting from the glass are heady scents of ripe blackberry and liquorice which are complimented by hints of graphite, dried meats, subtle vanillin cedar and prominent blackpepper notes. Rich and plush on entry with opulent blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits underpinned by vanillin cedar, subtle earthy graphite like nuances and plenty of pepper and spice. Finishes with plenty of freshness, a slightly grainy yet structured matrix of tannins and a long pepper infused aftertaste that shows both richness and finesse.
