2017 Zonte's Footstep Chocolate Factory Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated blackberry and liquorice aromas are tinged with a hint of spearmint followed by toasty vanillin cedar and blackpepper notes. Full in body, rich and opulently textured the palate is flooded with ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours which meld into a back drop of toasty vanillin cedar and subtle infusions of mint. Finishes with some blackpepper and good fresh acidity. Excellent length with a medium to long aftertaste.
