2017 Zema Estate Coonawarra Shiraz

Matured for 15 months in American and French oak hogsheads. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated aromas of dark plum, blackberry and liquorice stream out of the glass trailed by earth, vanillin cedar and hints of mint. Medium to full in body with a plush feel the palate is richly fruited with dark plum, blackberry and liquorice. Notions of vanillin cedar, subtle earthy leather characters and mint flow underneath. Velvet smooth tannins with a fleshy textured conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
