2017 Zema Estate Cluny

A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 7% Malbec and 6% Cabernet Franc matured for 18 months in French and American oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated red to black currant aromas infused with mint are followed by some vanillin cedar, earth and spice notes. Carrying ample richness the mid weighted palate features red to black currant, red liquorice and mint flavours over notions of spicy vanillin cedar, earth and faint tobacco. Silky and polished in its feel with velvet smooth tannins it shows excellent drive and finishes long and generous yet refined.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
