A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 7% Malbec. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Nosing offers up an amalgam of red to black currant fruit, mulberry, cedary tobacco characters, black olive and spicy dried herb aromas. Medium weight the palate has a graceful refined feel to it and is blessed with rich red and black currant fruit which sits over a back drop of mulberry, cedary tobacco elements, infusions of fresh herbs and spice. Relatively supple mouth feel, seamlessly integrated tannins and a good medium length finish.
