2017 Woodlands Wilyabrup Valley Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Elevated white peach and nectarine aromas meld into subtle dried honey and citrusy nougat notes with a faint whiff of gun flint also evident. Elegant yet creamy and rich the medium bodied palate is filled with generous ripe white peach, citrusy grapefruit, dried honey, nougat, light cashew and spice flavours. Finishes dry with good fresh acidity. Very refined with excellent length and a white peach, citrusy grapefruit, dried honey, subtle cashew and spicy nougat aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
