$779.88 Dozen
Cellar: 8 - 10 Years (2028-2030)
ABV: 13.5%
Closure: Stelvin
A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot and 6% Malbec. Superb depth of colour, midnight black with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Drifting from the glass is a refined and complex aromatic profile of blackcurrant and mulberry fruits, hints of red liquorice, dusty vanillin cedar, light tobacco, black olive and light bay leaf. The long, elegant palate is detailed with red to blackcurrant and mulberry fruits which overshadow a back drop of dusty cedar, subtle tobacco, black olive and infusions of fresh herbs. Dryish finish with a tightly knit matrix of tannins providing a strident framework. The long dusty red currant and mulberry aftertaste is all finesse.
Cellar 8-10 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
87% cab, 8% merlot and 5% malbec: tobacco and graphite are the first scents. Currant, too. Red and black. Authoritative. Fine boned. Well melded tannins, juicy and moreish. This pushes long, with an overall feeling of mid-weighted confidence in the glass and across a table. Drink by 2036.
