Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Elevated black cherry and liquorice scents merge into dried herb and leather with subtle earth and spice notes ensuing. Medium to full bodied the palate is rich and velvety on entry with generous morello cherry and liquorice fruit overlaying a back drop of dried herbs, subtle earthy leather nuances and spice. Ripe slightly chewy tannins provide the back palate with some rustic charm. Balanced acidity with a long savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Excellent colour; very precise black cherries, spices and darker berries on the back-palate, fine but firm tannins. Will relish time in bottle, and its great balance will stand it in good stead. Quality oak, too. Drink by 2037.
