2017 Warrabilla Reserve Shiraz

Totally opaque black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced dark plum and liquorice aromas combine with some blackberry over vanillin oak and spicy blackpepper. Plump and juicy the palate has good weight and richness but doesn’t have the density or concentration you’d normally expect from Warrabilla. Generous ripe dark plum, liquorice and ripe dark cherry flavours lead the charge underpinned by vanillin oak and spicy dried herb infusions. Structured tannins show some grip but are otherwise very well integrated. Finishes with fresh acidity and a medium to long spicy ripe dark plum, dark cherry, liquorice, toasty oak and subtle dried herb aftertaste.
