2017 Warrabilla Reserve Durif

Inky black core with a deep bright purple red hue. Elevated Morello cherry, dark plum and liquorice aromas meld into vanillin oak and spice notes. Still very youthful and fresh the medium to full bodied palate is filled with juicy Morello cherry, plum and liquorice flavours which sit over vanillin oak and spice. Whilst amply endowed with richness, this is a fresher somewhat more elegant version of Warrabilla’s Durif that’s missing the formidable size and power of great vintages. Finishes with bright acidity, velvet like tannins and an aftertaste of juicy Morello cherries, plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.
