2017 Wanted Man Grenache Mataro

Deep dark red at its core with black tinged edges and a red to brick red hue. Nosing reveals red raspberry and red liquorice aromas with a distinct clove overlay followed by some earthy leather and spice characters. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of red plum, red raspberry and liquorice mixing with infusions of clove, earth and pepper. Bright fresh finish with fine grained tannins and an energetic mid length aftertaste that sees the emergence of some leather characters.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
