2017 Vina Cobos Bramare Valle de Uco Malbec

This rich, flamboyant Malbec opens with magnificent depth of colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core and a very deep dark red black hue. Potent blackberry juice, liquorice and black cherry scents are married to vanillin oak, hints of dark chocolate, scorched earth and spicy mocha. Layered across the full bodied palate are lavish blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits which show both tremendous concentration and power. Sitting beneath the opulently textured black fruits are notions of vanillin oak, light scorched earth and spicy dark chocolate. Sturdy yet velvet like tannins provide plenty of structure. Concludes very long with some blueberry elements emerging on the aftertaste to lend freshness.
