Incorporates 15% whole bunch with no new oak used. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Ripe plum, dark cherry and liquorice aromas are overlaid by hints of dried clove and fennel with spicy pepper end notes. Medium bodied with a fleshy yet vibrant feel, the palate is filled with rich dark plum, ripe dark cherry and liquorice flavours which sit over faint clove and light spicy vanillin oak. Bright acidity and slightly dryish tannins form the framework. Aftertaste of spicy dark plum, raspberry, liquorice, clove and subtle vanillin oak.
