2017 Trentham Reserve Heathcote Shiraz

Totally opaque black core with a deep dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of liquorice, dark plum and dark chocolate followed by some spicy vanillin oak. Full in body, the rich, plush palate is coated with opulently textured liquorice, blackberry and dark chocolate flavours which are supported by toasty vanillin oak and spice. Very smooth well integrated tannins give the palate a polished feel. Concludes long and fleshy.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
