2017 Tim Smith Bugalugs Barossa Shiraz

Aged primarily in older American and French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Showing good intensity aromas of ripe dark plum, liquorice and dark cherries are overlaid by subtle incense notes with lightly earthed vanillin cedar and spice following on. Medium bodied with ample richness and a fleshy mouthfeel, juicy flavours of dark plums and liquorice are featured over a back drop of spicy vanillin cedar, light dried herbs and pepper. Lively finish with velvety tannins and an aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, earthy vanillin cedar and light dried herbs.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
