Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep purple red hue. Nosing reveals blackberry and liquorice top notes sitting over lightly toasted oak and spicy pepper. Medium to full bodied with good richness and plush feel the palate dishes up flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice which are underpinned by toasty vanillin oak and spice. Soft round tannins with a blackberry, liquorice, toasty oak and spice aftertaste.
