Pitch black at its core with a deep dark red black hue. Impressive dark plum, liquorice and blackberry aromas fill the nostrils followed by vanillin oak, hints of earth and blackpepper. Rich and luxurious in its feel, the palate is awash with opulent dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits which are cast over a back drop of vanillin oak, light scorched earth elements, subtle fennel and pepper. Silky smooth tannins with a long rich yet quite refined conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
