Impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced dark plum, ripe blackberry and liquorice scents marry into toasty vanillin oak with fennel and pepper notes ensuing. Rich, plump and sumptuous the palate has layers of lavish dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruit sitting over a back drop of toasty vanillin oak, fennel and spicy pepper. Velvety tannins. Excellent power and concentration with a long seductive aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, blackberries, toasty vanillin oak, subtle dried herbs and pepper.
