Bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a semi translucent dark red hue. The nose offers up a combination of red and dried cherry aromatics over light earth, fresh herbs and spice. Very vibrant and racy the palate possesses juicy cherry and red raspberry flavours over earthy graphite, dried herb and spice characters. Dry astringent finish with stern tannins and crunchy acidity. Chalky feel with a dry, grippy, red fruited aftertaste. Needs some time to come together.
