2017 Ten Miles East Saperavi
Matured for 12 months in a mix of new and old French oak. Dense inky black in colour with a deep black dark red hue. Pronounced black cherry and black plum scents intermix with liquorice, smoky cedar, black olive and peppered dried meats. Medium to full bodied with a rustic feel, black plum and liquorice fruits infused with black olive overlay a smoked meat, graphite and blackpepper back drop. Firm chewy tannin structure finishing dry and grippy with a tightly wound, meaty blackpepper infused aftertaste.
