2017 Taltarni Pyrenees Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Crushed blackberry and liquorice aromas meld into vanillin oak, confectionary and spicy pepper notes. Medium to full bodied with a plush feel and possessing ample richness the palate is decorated with ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours which sit over a back drop of vanillin oak, subtle toast and light pepper. Polished and well integrated tannins concluding with a medium length aftertaste. A more forward and open style than Taltarni’s of yester year.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
