Aged in French oak barriques. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Expressive aromas of red to black currant as well as mulberry are trailed by subtle cigar box, earth and spice. Softer and more approachable than the tannic Taltarni monsters of old, the palate features medium weighted flavours of ripe red and blackcurrants over a back drop of light cigar box characters, subtle scorched earth and spice. Finely grained tannins meld into an elegant medium to long finish.
