2017 Swinney Tirra Lirra Grenache

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Scented dark raspberry aromas meld into ripe cherry and liquorice notes followed by light vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Light to medium weight but deeply concentrated with a plush mid palate feel, juicy dark raspberry and ripe cherry flavours sit over a backdrop of some liquorice, vanillin cedar and a touch of earth. Finishes with plenty of spice and vibrancy. Fine grained yet sturdy tannins. Excellent power with a long succulent aftertaste.
