2017 Sons of Eden Remus Old Vine Shiraz

Impenetrable midnight black colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Intense dark plum and liquorice aromas are shaded by clove, fennel, spicy vanillin cedar, meaty characters and peppered earth. Rich with a sense of elegance and seamless integration between all of the components, the palate is flooded with opulent dark plum, liquorice and fennel flavours which meld into some meaty elements, dried herbs, earth, smoky cedar and spice. Despite the velvety feel of the tannins there’s excellent structure. Fantastic depth with a long savoury aftertaste.
