Semi translucent dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright light crimson hue. Fragrant violet laced aromas of ripe cherries and strawberries sail out of the glass with elements of sappy cedar, forest floor and spicy herbs also evident. Delicious ripe cherry and strawberry flavours overlaid with dried herbs have a very supple feel. Forest floor and spicy cedar characters follow on. Silky smooth tannins. Good drive with a spicy ripe cherry, strawberry, dried herb and forest floor aftertaste.
