This Pinot Gris was partially barrel fermented in older French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with a very faint glimmer of green around the outskirts. Lifted ripe pear and spicy red apple aromas intermixed with some honeysuckle are followed by a touch of quince and light cinnamon notes. Rich mouthfilling palate with flavours of ripe pears, red apples and honeysuckle dominate over infusions of musk and quince. Medium dry finish with balanced acidity. Lengthy aftertaste of ripe pears, honeysuckle, red apples, subtle quince and lightly spiced musk,
