2017 Schild Estate Shiraz

Matured in a combination of French and American oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of plum, raspberry and liquorice merge into some toasty vanillin cedar with spice end notes. Juicy medium bodied flavours of plum, liquorice and ripe dark raspberries sit over lightly toasted vanillin oak with a dash of spice on the finish. Well integrated polished tannins with a lick of bright acidity and a medium length spicy dark fruited aftertaste.
