2017 Sarsfield Estate Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 14 months. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a light red hue. A combination of sour to dark cherry and winter strawberry scents are followed by earthy dried herb, stalky cedar and spice notes. Light to medium bodied the palate has a darker profile with black cherry and anise flavours holding sway over toasty oak, earth and spicy dried herb characters. Sturdy tannins with a ripe medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
