Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose is filled with white and black pepper scents, dark cherry, liquorice, dried meats, smoky cedar and spice also evident. Spicy liquorice and ripe dark cherry fruits infused with blackpepper are overlaid by smoky vanillin cedar, scorched earth and meaty characters. Slightly dryish, grippy tannins give the wine a chalky feel. Youthful, vibrant acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
