Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Fragrant violet top notes meld into scents of blackberry, liquorice and traces of ripe blueberry followed by vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Rich blackberry and liquorice flavours subtlety infused with clove move smoothly across the palate underpinned by vanillin cedar, dried herbs, scorched earth and spice. Velvet like tannins have a good underlying framework. Excellent depth with a long savoury dark fruited conclusion.
