2017 Roberto Sarotto Barbaresco Riserva

Dark red black tinged core with a dark brick red hue. Fragrant ripe dark cherry and strawberry scents infused with a mix of rose petals, red liquorice, earth and spice drift out of the glass. Quite rich and juicy the medium bodied palate features a fleshy textural feel with morello cherry, liquorice and vanilla flavours to the fore. Earth and spicy leather characters sit underneath. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with a morello cherry and vanilla driven finish of medium length.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
