2017 Robert Oatley Finisterre Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in new, one and two year old French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Oozing out of the glass are black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas which are trailed by notions of vanillin cedar, light scorched earth and blackpepper. Rich and satiny in its feel the full bodied palate is laden with liquorice, black cherry and blackberry fruits. Notions of smoky vanillin cedar, earth, fennel and blackpepper ensue. Seamlessly integrated velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power with a long opulent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
