2017 Renato Ratti Ochetti Langhe Nebbiolo

A 100% Nebbiolo sourced from vines with an average age of 45 years. Bright ruby red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. A fragrant mix of rose petals, red cherries, red currants, fresh herbs, earth and spicy tobacco evolve from the glass. Juicy red cherry and red currant flavours fill the light to medium weight palate with underlying infusions of fresh herbs, light earth and spice. Firmish but attractive tannins and lively acidity provide the structure imparting a sense of chewiness on the long delicious spicy red fruit driven aftertaste.
