2017 Reillys Dry Land Mataro

Impenetrable midnight black in colour with a dark red hue. Elevated black plum, liquorice and black cherry aromas are followed by vanillin cedar, scorched earth and spice. Rich, full and voluptuous in its texture the palate is swamped with lavish liquorice, black cherry and dark plum fruits which overlay a back drop of toasty vanillin cedar, earth and spice. A robust tannin structure lies beneath the wealth of fruit. Superb intensity and power with a long black fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
