Cellar: Drink now - 2 Years (2021-2023)
ABV: 12.5%

Bright pale straw colour with highlights of green coursing around the outskirts and a watery hue. Nectarine and citrus aromas intermix with subtle notions of dried honey, lemon butter and gun flint. Medium weighted, nectarine and citrus fruits have a vibrant feel overlaying a lemon butter, bees wax and subtle biscuity oak back drop. Finishes dry with a grapefruit like freshness and elegant aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
Alc. 12.5%

Other Reviews….
Destemmed, pressed to tank and settled, transferred to French puncheons (10% new) for wild fermentation, no mlf. You might be tempted to say the wine is understated until the length of the palate makes its presence felt, itself part of the exceptional vintage, and you realise the skill here has been the hands off vinification (including picking decisions). Drink by 2024.
