Aged for 14 months in American oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted dark to black cherry and liquorice aromas marry into vanillin oak, scorched earth and spicy leather notes. Medium to full bodied the palate is loaded with rich black cherry and liquorice fruits which sit over a spicy vanillin oak, scorched earth and leather back drop. Dryish finish with ripe chewy tannins lending grip to the long opulent aftertaste.
