2017 Portsea Estate Chardonnay

Aged in 30% new French oak. Bright straw colour with a glimmer of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of spicy peaches mix with honeyed notes, hints of roasted almonds and citrusy nougat characters. Rich peach and nectarine fruits have a fleshy feel mixing with notions of honeyed apricot, light cashew and spice. Finishes dry with balanced acidity and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
